Finding a doctor to cure your asthma

Please help us keep this page current by emailing us with updated information-Thanks

The following list is a good starting point in finding an open minded Doctor.

Before talking with your doctor be sure to read the asthmastory Steps I took to cure my severe asthma section to prepare yourself. I also recommend bringing a copy of Dr. Hahn’s book. In addition, print and bring the “recommendation to physicians” document that Dr. Hahn wrote. You could also print out some studies listed in the research section, especially the Meta Analysis of Clinical Trials.

Let me know if you find a good doctor not on this list

Dr. Hardy practices out of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital – Partners Asthma Center. He has a satellite office at the Faulkner Hospital, which tends to be less utilized and one can get an an appointment more quickly.

His Faulkner Hospital office can be reached at (617) 983-7420. I’m not 100% sure, but he may only accept patients by doctor’s referral, so your primary care doc may have to call and make the initial appointment.

I don’t know if anyone in the practice is as open minded, but Dr. Witmer is rare…. he likes informed patients, he doesn’t like giving out prescriptions, and he’s willing to LISTEN. More you can’t really ask for in our drive-by medical system.

Miamisburg, OH

Dr. Wagshul has successfully treated hundreds of asthma patients with zithromax and doxycyline. I have spoken with Dr. Wagshul on the phone several times and I highly recommend him and his unique approach to curing people of severe asthma. His protocol is stronger than Dr. Hahn’s but very effective.
